Same turntable heel as the Pivot 15, same 45mm of elastic travel in the toe — just a lower DIN range. That turntable heel is the whole point: it rotates directly under your tibia instead of pushing sideways, so releases are cleaner and you get fewer pre-releases on hard landings. If you don't need DIN above 12, there's zero reason to pay more for the 15.
The Forza 3.0 colorway looks great on pretty much any ski. Build quality is tank-like — these things survive seasons of park abuse.
Best For
Intermediate to advanced skiers under ~200 lbs who want the Pivot's legendary retention without paying for DIN they'll never use.
Not For
Heavier or aggressive expert skiers who actually need DIN above 12 — get the Pivot 15 or Pivot 2.0 15.
Common Questions
- What is the difference between the Look Pivot 12 and Pivot 15?
- Same binding, different DIN range. The 12 goes 4-12, the 15 goes 6-15. Same turntable heel, same elastic travel, same build. Pick based on your DIN setting.
- Is the Look Pivot 12 GW compatible with GripWalk boots?
- Yes. The GW version works with both GripWalk (ISO 23223) and standard Alpine (ISO 5355) boot soles.
