MARKER Griffon 13 D Bindings 26/27

The Marker Griffon 13 D is a 26/27 alpine freeride demo binding with tool-free FDT adjustment, DIN 4-13 and Alpine/GripWalk Adult compatibility. The D is the important part: its toe and heel move on a track, covering a 260-388 mm boot-sole range without another mount. Available PTO brake variants are 90, 100 and 110 mm.

Marker rebuilt this generation around a TP Elite 4 toe and Inter Pivot 4 heel. The catalog attributes revised power transfer and impact absorption to that pairing, along with more vertical elasticity at the heel and more comfortable entry, but publishes no travel or step-in measurements. A stainless steel AFD sits under the boot toe, while the Anti Ice Rail provides a metal edge for scraping snow and ice from the sole. Official weight is 1290 g per binding, with a 28 mm stand height.

Compatibility is narrower than some retailer listings suggest. Marker's exact BOOT TYPE is A / GW A, covering adult-category ISO 5355 Alpine (A) and ISO 23223 GripWalk (GW A). Touring ISO 9523 soles are not included. Tool-free length adjustment does not make this a home-install binding. A certified technician must mount the system, confirm the exact boot interface, establish forward pressure and release settings, then perform the required check on calibrated test equipment. DIN 4-13 is the binding's adjustment window, not an individual recommendation or measured release force.

Choose the Griffon 13 D when several boots may use one ski or when fleet-level adjustment is worth the added hardware. If one boot will stay on one ski, the fixed Griffon X 13 is 270 g lighter per binding and 14 mm lower. If easy entry is the priority, Marker gives the Griffon 13 TCX D that advantage.
