Every gear purchase earns points, in store and online, and points turn into store credit for gear, rentals and lessons. Here is exactly how much and exactly when.

Earning points
- $1 spent = 1 point. All gear you buy earns, in store and online — sale, clearance and Final Sale items earn exactly what full-price items earn.
- Rentals and lessons don't earn points — but store credit from your points pays for them.
- 20 points = $1 off — which works out to 5% of what you spend coming back to you.
- Points land in your account when you order and unlock 20 days later. The wait is the return window: points on gear that comes back to us are taken off again.
- Store credit you spend at checkout is payment, not spending — the part of an order paid with credit does not earn points a second time.
Spending points
- Turn points into store credit from your account — any multiple of 10 points, minimum 10 ($0.50). The credit goes on your PTO balance right away.
- Store credit spends anywhere at PTO — the shop, rentals and lessons, online or at the counter. It is a payment, not a coupon, so it goes on top of any coupon you use.
- Points coupons made before September 22, 2026 still work at the shop until their 90 days are up.
- Percentage coupons do not stack with each other. One percentage code per order — the welcome code, the first-order code and a seasonal member coupon are all percentages, so pick the one you want to use and save the others for another order. The automatic combo discount on hardware is not a coupon and does not use up your one.
Member tiers
Every dollar you spend buying gear also counts toward your lifetime total, which is what moves you up. Tiers do not expire and refunds are the only thing that moves you back.

The fine print
- Points need an account, and the account's email has to be verified — that is how an order finds the right person.
- The welcome code and the first-order code are one per customer, not one per email address. A second account on the same inbox does not earn a second code.
- Refunds take back the points that order earned, including the tier credit.
