The Strive line is Salomon's answer to the Marker Griffon — all-mountain bindings with a modern low-profile design. The ultra-low toe piece drops your center of gravity closer to the ski, which translates to better power transmission and quicker response. The three-piece heel is lighter than the old Warden/STH2 designs.
The 12 is the entry point. GripWalk compatible, DIN 4-12, wider body than the Icon for more stability. A solid mid-range binding for skiers who want something better than basic without going full premium.
Best For
Intermediate all-mountain skiers who want Salomon's low-profile design and better snow feel at a reasonable price.
Not For
Skiers who need multinorm compatibility (touring boots) — step up to the Strive 14 MN.
Common Questions
- What is the Salomon Strive vs the old Warden?
- The Strive replaced the Warden. It has a lower stack height, lighter three-piece heel, and improved power transmission. Same reliability, better design.
