Who We Are

PTO Ski & Snowboard is a premium specialty retailer at 5639 SW Arctic Dr in Beaverton, Oregon — about 10 minutes west of downtown Portland. We opened in 2023 with one goal: build the kind of pro shop where every staff member actually rides, every brand is hand-selected, and every customer gets honest, experience-backed advice instead of a sales pitch.

We are an authorized dealer for 28+ brands including Stöckli, Burton, Nitro, Capita, Blackcrows, Smith, POC, Fjällräven, Descente, Anon, Bataleon, 686, and DPS. Every product ships with full manufacturer warranty.

What We Offer

Beyond retail, PTO runs a full-service workshop for ski and snowboard mounting, tuning, waxing, and repair. We offer binding installation with free mounting on full setup purchases (ski + boots + bindings), same-day tuning turnaround on most services, and seasonal rental packages fitted by certified instructors. Our indoor lesson facility — the only one of its kind in Oregon — serves beginners through intermediates year-round through our PTO Beaverton program.

Expert Curation

Our buying team tests gear on-snow each season at Mt. Hood, Bachelor, and across the Pacific Northwest before anything reaches the shop floor. We maintain direct relationships with brand reps and product engineers, attend industry demos, and evaluate new models against real conditions — not just spec sheets. The result is a catalog of 500+ products where every item earns its place.

Real Snow Sports Knowledge

When you reach out to PTO — in-store, by phone, or through our AI gear advisor — you are talking to riders. Our staff includes PSIA/AASI-certified instructors, former racers, backcountry guides, and freestyle riders who collectively cover every discipline. We speak English and Chinese (Mandarin), and we are happy to help with sizing, skill-level matching, and building complete setups from scratch.
