The Veloce 110 MV is Dalbello's answer for skiers who want a traditional overlap boot with real walk mode at a reasonable price. The dual-injected PU shell puts softer plastic up top for easier entry and stiffer material down low where you need precision. At 100mm it's true medium volume — snug enough for control, open enough that most average feet won't need major shell work.
Compared to the Cabrio MV 100, you trade the three-piece flex feel for walk mode and a slightly narrower last. The Contour 5 shell shaping adds relief at the navicular, both ankles, and sixth toe zone, which reduces common pressure points. A solid daily driver for advanced all-mountain skiers.
Strengths
- +Walk mode — a real cuff release for lodge walks and short bootpacks
- +Dual-injected shell: softer entry zone, firmer lower for power transfer
- +Contour 5 shell shaping reduces pressure at five common hot spots
Best For
Advanced all-mountain skiers who want walk mode, a 100mm medium fit, and solid power transfer without paying for BOA.
Limitations
- −No BOA — purely buckle closure at this price tier
- −110 flex may overwhelm lighter skiers under 150lb
- −Hyperlight cuff is functional but basic compared to the Veloce Space line
Not For
Beginners (flex is too stiff), wide feet (102mm+ → look at Veloce Max), or anyone wanting BOA convenience (→ Veloce Space 110).
Common Questions
- How does the Veloce 110 MV compare to the Veloce Space 110?
- The Space 110 adds BOA single-dial closure, the IF Space liner with Ankle Sense tech, and Quick Fit Panel entry — for about $36 more. The MV 110 uses traditional buckles and a simpler liner. If easy on/off and micro-adjustability matter to you, go Space.
- What does "dual-injected" shell mean?
- The upper cuff area uses a softer PU plastic so you can flex in and out easily, while the lower shell uses a firmer compound for precise ski control. You get two different densities in one boot without a seam or separate tongue piece.
- Is the Veloce 110 MV compatible with my bindings?
- It ships with GripWalk soles (ISO 23223), compatible with GripWalk-specific and MNC bindings. Also works with touring bindings (ISO 13992). Not compatible with traditional alpine-only bindings (ISO 9462).
