The Space 120 Dual is the sweet spot of the Veloce Space lineup. Same BOA Dual Dial system as the 130, same IF Pro Space liner with AUTOFIT and Ankle Sense, same Quick Fit Panel entry — just 10 fewer flex points. For most advanced skiers in the 150–190lb range, 120 is the flex that actually lets you use the boot instead of fighting it. The bi-injected shell balances responsiveness with enough forgiveness to ski all day without leg fatigue.

At $581 it's $70 less than the 130 with zero downgrade in fit technology. The only difference is shell stiffness. If you're honest about your skiing level and weight, the 120 is probably the smarter buy. The Space 110 drops to a single BOA dial and a simpler liner if you want to save more.

Strengths

  • +BOA Dual Dial with the same IF Pro Space liner as the flagship 130
  • +120 flex hits the advanced sweet spot — responsive without being punishing
  • +Walk mode + GripWalk soles for lodge comfort and short hikes

Best For

Advanced all-mountain skiers 150–190lb who want BOA Dual Dial convenience and all-day comfort in a 120-flex shell.

Limitations

  • Not stiff enough for 200lb+ expert chargers — step up to the 130
  • BOA cables need occasional inspection for wear after heavy seasons
  • $581 is still premium territory — the non-Space Veloce 120 MV saves money if you skip BOA

Not For

Budget-conscious buyers who don't need BOA (→ Veloce 120 MV), or expert chargers who need 130 flex.

Common Questions

Should I get the 120 or the 130?
Be honest about your weight and skiing style. If you are under 190lb and ski mostly groomed to variable all-mountain terrain, the 120 will feel better all day. The 130 is for 190lb+ experts who need that extra stiffness at high speed and on steep, hard snow.
What bindings are compatible with the GripWalk sole?
GripWalk (ISO 23223) soles work with GripWalk-specific bindings, MNC (multi-norm certified) bindings, and touring bindings (ISO 13992). They are not compatible with older traditional alpine-only bindings (ISO 9462).
Can the IF Pro Space liner be heat-molded?
Yes. The AUTOFIT tongue and collar use memory foam that conforms passively to your leg shape, and the liner body can be heat-molded with MyFit technology for a more customized forefoot and heel fit.
