Description
Redesigned for lighter skiers. The 67mm waist and slightly subtler sidecut give the Laser MX stability and control across short to medium turns.
Softflex construction and Turtle Shell 2.0 — slits in the titanal that flex at low speeds and lock up at higher tempos — make the ski easy underfoot when cruising and stable when pushed. Built for women who carve groomers all day.

The take
“The best ski I've ever ridden — it always grips, whether on slush, ice, or moguls.”
The Laser MX is Stöckli's women's frontside carver, and it's not a watered-down version of the men's Laser line — it's a purpose-built ski with the same Swiss construction and technology, optimized for lighter skiers. The Turtle Shell 2.0 technology is the standout feature: cutouts in the titanal layer that flex at low speeds for easy, comfortable skiing, then interlock at higher speeds for stability and damping. It's adaptive stiffness that actually works.
The Softflex construction uses thinner layers and lighter materials for a softer flex pattern that rewards lighter skiers with easier turn initiation and less fatigue.
On groomers, the MX carves precise short-to-medium turns with excellent edge grip. Customer reviews consistently praise its performance on ice — it bites and holds. The tail rocker makes turn release playful and forgiving, while the Turtle Grip tip rocker improves turn initiation as the ski tilts on edge.
This is a frontside specialist. The 67mm waist is too narrow for off-piste or powder, and the max length of 164cm limits it for taller women. But for women who spend most days on groomers and want a ski that performs at a high level without being punishing, the MX delivers.
Bindings we'd pair with it
Mount point: Stöckli plate system (pre-mounted). Our pick: Stöckli MC 12.
- Stöckli MC 12Standard pairing
MC 12 on Fullflex plate. Light, responsive, and matched to the MX's women's-specific flex pattern.
- Stöckli SRT 12More aggressive
SRT 12 on SRT-Speed-D20 plate. Stiffer platform for women who push harder and want more direct power transmission.
The Laser MX ships as a system ski with an integrated plate. Third-party flat bindings are not compatible.
