Black Crows Octo birdie 25/26

The Octo Birdie is the women's version of Black Crows' Octo — an 84mm all-mountain carver with a playful, surfy streak. The swallowtail and short radius make it quick edge-to-edge and easy to release out of a turn: it'll lay down a clean groomer arc, but it doesn't punish you when you'd rather slash, smear, or pop off a side hit. Poplar core with fiberglass and ABS sidewalls, plus an aluminum tail insert for energy — no titanal, so it stays light and lively rather than damp and heavy.

It suits an intermediate-to-advanced skier who carves but also likes to play — not someone hunting maximum stability on firm hardpack at speed, and not a powder ski. A fun, forgiving all-mountain carver.
