Völkl Mantra 88 W Skis 26/27

The 2026/27 Völkl Mantra 88 W is an 88 mm all-mountain ski offered in a 149–170 cm size range. It sits between the wider M7 Mantra W and narrower Mantra 84 W: more agile on firm snow than the 96 mm model, with more support in mixed or softened conditions than the 84 mm option. That balance makes it a useful resort ski for groomers, bumps, trees and changing afternoon snow.

Its 134-88-114 mm shape uses Völkl’s 3D Radius Sidecut. Three radii are placed along the edge so different turn shapes become available as the ski is tipped and pressured. The shorter center radius supports quick direction changes; longer radii toward the ends give the ski space to open the turn. Tip and tail rocker assist turn entry and release in less consistent snow.

The construction combines a Multilayer Woodcore with a Tailored Titanal Frame. Völkl adjusts the Titanal frame by ski length and adds a thinner layer through the binding area. Tailored Carbon Tips place carbon fibers in the shovel, while Full Sidewall construction and a brushed P-Tex 2100 base provide a resort-oriented finish.

Published weights range from 1620 g per ski at 156 cm to 1800 g at 170 cm; Völkl does not list a weight for the 149 cm size. The Mantra 88 W is sold flat, so the binding and mount are selected separately.
