Description

The S/PRO SUPRA BOA 95 W is Salomon's comfort-forward all-mountain boot for women who want a reliable, dialed fit without fighting buckles at the top of a run. The shell is built on a 100mm last with Salomon's Custom Shell HD technology — that thin, close-to-foot construction means you're not floating around inside a boxy shell, and when a bootfitter heat-molds it, the shell softens and conforms to the specific shape of your foot rather than just the liner taking up the slack. Closure is a single BOA dial on the lower shell combined with two buckles on the upper cuff; the BOA handles the forefoot and instep wrap with micro-adjustable precision while the buckles manage calf pressure independently. The My CustomFit 4D Sport liner is pre-shaped and heat-moldable as well, so between shell and liner customization there's a real path to a snug, pressure-free fit for feet that don't match a stock mold. At flex 95, there's enough stiffness to move a groomed run's worth of carve without the boot working against you, but it's not going to demand a strong athletic stance all day — it gives a little when you want to rest. GripWalk soles come pre-mounted, so walking from the car to the lodge is less of a shuffle. Women's-specific details include a women's calf adjuster that adds 11mm of perimeter and 4mm of height to accommodate narrower calves and a lower cuff geometry that doesn't dig into the shin the way a men's last-adjusted shell would.

This boot fits women skiing blue to black terrain consistently — someone who skis a few weeks a season, wants to feel connected on groomed runs, and doesn't want to wrestle with stiff equipment. If you ski aggressively in variable or off-piste conditions and need a shell that pushes back hard when you get forward, a 95 flex will feel soft and you should look at Salomon's stiffer S/PRO SUPRA BOA 105 W instead. Conversely, if your foot is genuinely narrow — under about 97mm — the 100mm last on this boot may leave you swimming even after heat molding, and the narrower-lasted S/PRO Alpha (98mm) will serve you better. Come in and get measured: last width and flex need to match your foot and your skiing, and buying on flex number alone is how boots end up collecting dust. We'll pull the liner, check your foot against the shell, and heat-mold it here if needed — that's the difference between a boot that fits and one that just sort of fits.

The S/PRO Supra BOA 95 W takes the same ExoWrap platform as the 105 W and softens the flex to 95, hitting the sweet spot for strong intermediate-to-advanced women. The BOA dial provides micro-adjustable forefoot wrapping, and the Women Calf Adjuster adds extra fitting flexibility — it modifies the cuff perimeter by 11mm and height by 4mm to accommodate different calf shapes, which is a feature the stiffer 105 W doesn't include.

At $441, it's $70 less than the 105 W and arguably the better value for most women outside of expert-level skiing. You still get Custom Shell HD, GripWalk, walk mode, and BOA — with a more forgiving flex and better calf adjustability.

Strengths

  • +Women Calf Adjuster (+11mm perimeter, +4mm height) for different calf shapes
  • +BOA + ExoWrap at a more accessible $441 price than the 105 W
  • +Flex 95 is the sweet spot for strong intermediate-to-advanced women

Best For

Strong intermediate-to-advanced women who want BOA convenience, calf adjustability, and ExoWrap precision at a moderate price.

Limitations

  • Flex 95 may still feel stiff for lighter intermediate skiers
  • 35mm strap is narrower than the 105 W's 45mm — slightly less instep lockdown
  • 100mm medium-volume last — not for wide feet

Not For

Beginners (too stiff), wide-footed women (need 102mm+ last), or expert women who want max stiffness (get the 105 W).

Common Questions

What does the Women Calf Adjuster do?
It modifies the cuff to accommodate different calf shapes — adding up to 11mm of perimeter and 4mm of height. Women often have wider calves relative to ankle size, and this adjuster prevents the common problem of calf pressure and pain at the top of the boot.
Is this boot good for intermediate skiers?
Strong intermediates who ski confidently on blue and black runs — yes. If you are still learning to link parallel turns, flex 95 may feel stiff. In that case, look at the S/PRO Delta BOA 95 W for a wider, more forgiving option.
