That wider forefoot and higher instep give skiers with meaty feet room to breathe without sacrificing heel hold, because the lower shell uses a single BOA dial to cinch the forefoot with micro-precise, even tension all the way around — no pressure points, no localized hotspots from a single buckle cam. The upper cuff then closes with two aluminum buckles, letting you tune forward lean and calf pressure independently. The My Custom Fit 3D Perf liner is heat-moldable off the shelf, and the shell itself is built with Custom Shell HD technology — meaning a bootfitter can spot-punch or heat-mold problem areas in minutes without wrecking the shell's integrity. There is no mechanical walk/hike mode toggle, but the pre-mounted GripWalk ISO soles (ISO 23223) give you enough traction and rocker underfoot to move comfortably between lodge and lift without hobbling.
