Description
The Burton Women's Step On Re:Flex is a strapless snowboard binding for women's Step On boots, with a $279.95 MSRP. The boot's two toe cleats click into spring-loaded hooks, its heel cleat locks into a heel clip, and a lever on the heel cup releases it, so there is nothing to ratchet.
Burton molds the single-component baseplate from an 18% short-glass/nylon composite and mounts it on its Re:Flex hinged disc, which Burton lists for 4x4, 2x4 and Channel boards. Burton's pre-2014 3D boards need a separately sold 3D Hinge Disc. Forward lean is changed with a screwdriver at the hi-back. No weight is published.
It is the wrong binding for riders in standard boots, and for men's Step On boots too, since Burton sizes the system by gender. Burton's three-point connection: two toe hooks, one heel clip and a self-resetting release lever. Per Burton's manual, Step On bindings are not designed to release or to prevent injury.
Re:Flex mounting
Burton's hinged disc, which it says improves board flex and feel while cutting weight. Burton's Step On manual lists 4x4, 3D and The Channel as compatible; Burton's old 3D-pattern boards need the 3D Hinge Disc, which is not included.

Step On FLAD
Burton's screw-set lean adjuster: a #2 Phillips screwdriver changes the hi-back angle. Burton: more lean for a quicker, more active response, less for a more relaxed one.

Two-position heel clip
Burton's manual gives the heel clip an initial position that still locks with snow under your boot and a final riding position that needs extra heel pressure. Both hold fully, per Burton, though the first can allow more boot movement.
