In Burton's Tech Specs both use a Bomb-Proof Polycarbonate baseplate, a Reactstrap, a Supergrip Capstrap and Smooth Glide buckles, and both carry the Happy Medium label. Their spec rows part at the hi-back: the Citizen sets lean with a MicroFLAD lever, while the $249.95 Scribe gets DialFLAD on a Living Hinge hi-back that Burton says adjusts forward lean and rotation independently.

- Burton says Re:Flex bindings go on 2x4, 4x4 or Channel boards with the matching disc, and on its pre-2014 3D pattern with a 3D Hinge Disc sold separately.
