Rated Stiff & Aggressive, the Cartel X Re:Flex is not pitched only at hard riding: Burton's copy for this model lists park laps and side hits and ties zero forward lean to a surfy feel, and by Burton's account, setting less lean on the DialFLAD dial gives a more relaxed response. It makes sense for riders who like a firm binding but want the option to back off the lean.
The Cartel X Re:Flex wins on board reach. At the same $349.95 and the same label, the Cartel X EST fits Channel boards only, while Burton says Re:Flex goes on 2x4, 4x4 and Channel boards with the matching disc.
