The Mach Sport MV 75 W is Tecnica's entry-to-intermediate women's boot with medium-volume fit. At 1530g, it's one of the lightest boots in this price range, and the C.A.S. PP shell with Double Quick Instep makes getting in and out easy — both sides of the instep open wider than a standard single-entry shell. The Celliant liner adds warmth through infrared energy recycling, which matters more than you'd think on cold mornings.

Flex 75 is forgiving enough for developing technique while providing noticeably more support than flex 60 beginner boots. At $344, it slots right between rental-replacement entry boots and the high-end Mach1 line. If your foot is medium width and you're past the beginner stage but not ready for 90+ flex, this is a smart buy.

Strengths

  • +Double Quick Instep for easy entry/exit — opens wider than standard shells
  • +Very light at 1530g — less fatigue on long ski days
  • +C.A.S. heat-moldable shell with Celliant liner at an accessible price

Best For

Beginner-to-intermediate women with medium-width feet who want a lightweight, easy-entry boot with Tecnica's C.A.S. customization.

Limitations

  • No walk mode — piste-oriented boot only
  • Flex 75 will feel soft for strong intermediate-to-advanced women
  • PP shell is lighter but less stiff than PU — not as responsive at speed

Not For

Wide feet (look at the HV 75 W at 103mm), strong intermediates who need 90+ flex, or skiers who require walk mode.

Common Questions

What is the difference between Mach Sport MV 75 W and HV 75 W?
Same flex (75), same price ($344), same construction. The MV has a 100mm medium-volume last; the HV has a 103mm high-volume last. Choose based on foot width — MV for average, HV for wide.
Is the Mach Sport a step up from rental boots?
A big step up. C.A.S. heat-moldable shell, Celliant liner, proper buckle closure, and a last matched to your foot width. Rental boots are generic plastic with worn-out liners. This is a real ski boot.
