Union Trilogy Snowboard Bindings 26/27

The 26/27 Union Trilogy is a responsive women’s all-mountain snowboard binding for riders who want firm edge input from a flex-7 chassis. Union marks the flex at 7/10 and gives it All-Mountain 9, with Performance, Freestyle and Freeride each at 7 on Union’s own scorecard. Those are Union ratings, not PTO test scores, and the peak at All-Mountain 9 defines the job.

The S9 Duraflex ST baseplate and S19 Duraflex ST highback carry the flex. Underfoot, Union’s Molecular Bushing Suspension System separates the boot platform from part of the chassis vibration path, while a Non-Stick HP EVA footbed adds cushioning. Two separate strap zones let the rider tune pressure over the ankle and toe. Union lists the pair at 1.94 kg.

Through its Camber Disk, the Trilogy covers Channel plus both 4x2 and 4x4 inserts. No Burton 3D mounting is published. Size follows the snowboard boot, never rider weight. US Women’s boots from 4–6.5 map to S, 6.5–8.5 to M and 9–11 to L on Union’s chart. Check a boot that sits on a size boundary before mounting.

The extra support over the Classic is easiest to justify for riders who already know they load the highback and straps through faster turns.

Choose the Trilogy for confident all-mountain riding, carving and mixed resort snow when response matters more than a loose park feel. Skip it if a beginner-soft binding, a lighter and less expensive flex-6 Trilogy Classic, Burton 3D mounting or step-in entry is the priority.
