Union Trilogy Classic Snowboard Bindings 26/27

The 26/27 Union Trilogy Classic is a women’s all-mountain snowboard binding with a balanced flex 6/10 and a conventional two-strap interface. Union gives it Performance 8 and All-Mountain 8, with Freestyle 7 and Freeride 7 on Union’s own scorecard. Those ratings describe a centered resort binding: supportive enough for faster turns, with more give than the current flex-7 Trilogy.

The S4 Duraflex ST baseplate and S1 Duraflex ST highback form the chassis. The bushing uses Multi-Density Thermoformed EVA, while the footbed uses Thermoformed EVA; together they add cushioning beneath the boot. Independent ankle and toe straps retain two-point pressure adjustment. Union lists the pair at 1.74 kg.

Its Camber Disk mounts 4x2, 4x4 and Burton Channel boards; Burton 3D is not listed. Size follows the snowboard boot, not rider weight. Union’s women’s chart places S at US Women’s 4–6.5, M at 6.5–8.5 and L at 9–11. A boundary-size boot should be checked in the actual binding before the stance is set.

The Classic name matters because this is a distinct construction, not merely an older color. Its appeal is the middle ground: enough chassis to support progression without charging the premium for the current model’s suspension platform and S19 highback.

Choose the Trilogy Classic for mixed groomer, side-hit and off-piste resort days when balance matters more than the sharpest response. Skip it if a very soft beginner binding, the current Trilogy’s firmer chassis, a Burton 3D mount or step-in entry is the priority. PTO can confirm the boot range, mount the Camber Disk and set stance.
