The Union Falcor is Union's top-rated freeride binding — a mid-stiff, two-strap Mini Disk model built for riding hard and fast off the groomers. It is the Travis Rice pro binding, and Union's own scorecard tells the story: a class-leading mark for freeride, high scores for all-mountain and performance, and a slightly lower one for freestyle. This is a binding meant to be driven.
The feel is engineered, not advertised. An asymmetric Italian forged-carbon highback and a stiff Duraflex CB baseplate deliver quick, precise steering at speed, while the compact Mini Disk lets the board keep more of its natural flex underfoot. Canting is built in, forward lean is micro-adjustable, and the chassis stays light for how much drive it offers.
Reach for the Falcor if you charge variable, off-piste and big-mountain terrain and want response over a soft, surfy ride. Look elsewhere if your priority is different: Union's Atlas Pro is the stiffer everyday all-mountain pick, the Neo is a lighter performance step down, and the Ultra Men is the softer, park-leaning sibling. Tell us how you actually ride and we will point you to the right one.
Two practical notes before you order. On mounting, the Mini Disk fits Union's own insert pattern and Burton's Channel, but it will not mount a deck cut only for the four-by-four grid or Burton's older three-hole layout — so tell us what your board is drilled for. On sizing, choose by your boot rather than your body weight: Union offers small, medium and large, but there is no published boot-size chart to map them. A binding ships bare anyway, so bring us your boots and we will size it to your board in the shop.
