The Kerma Leg Protection SR is the adult shin guard in Kerma's race protection line. Kerma builds its shin guards for slalom, the discipline where the shins are what go through the gate, and points its forearm guards at giant slalom instead. So this is the SL piece — for masters racers, club and college athletes, and adults who spend real time in a slalom course. It is a high-impact polyamide shell over bi-density foam, with hook-and-loop closures for quick on and off.
On the certification: Kerma lists it as CE. The spec sheet does not attach an impact class or a standard number to that, so we are not going to quote one. If your race series has an equipment rule that names a specific standard, check it with them before you order.
SR is the adult guard, and we carry it in M and L. A pair covers both shins. Junior racers want the Kerma Leg Protection JR, which is a separate product in a smaller size and at a lower price. It is not a size option on this listing, so read the title. On the M versus L question: shin guards are sized by the leg, not by your boot, and a guard that slides down mid-course is doing nobody any good. If you are between the two, come in and we will fit both before you commit.
Available in M and L.
