Kerma Forearm Protection JR

The Kerma Forearm Protection JR is the junior forearm guard in Kerma's race protection line. Kerma aims its forearm guards at giant slalom and its shin guards at slalom, so this is the piece for a young racer taking GS gates on the arms. The construction is plain race-room hardware: a high-impact polyamide shell over foam, strapped on, with hook-and-loop closures so it goes on and comes off fast between runs.

On the certification: Kerma lists it as CE. The spec sheet does not attach an impact class or a standard number to that, so we are not going to quote one. If your club or race series has an equipment rule that names a specific standard, confirm it with them before you order.

Read the JR and SR on the title carefully, because that is where the sizing decision actually happens. This is the junior guard, and it comes as a pair — one for each arm. Adult racers want the Kerma Forearm Protection SR, which we list as its own product. Each of the two is offered in a single size, so there is no size dropdown to save you from grabbing the wrong one — the model name is the choice. If your racer is somewhere near the line between the two, bring the arm in and we will hold both against it.
