The Kerma Forearm Protection SR is the adult forearm guard in Kerma's race protection line. Kerma aims its forearm guards at giant slalom and its shin guards at slalom, so this is the GS piece — for masters racers, club and college athletes, and anyone who trains gates enough to know exactly why forearm guards exist. It is a high-impact polyamide shell over foam, strapped on, with hook-and-loop closures for quick on and off between runs.
On the certification: Kerma lists it as CE. The spec sheet does not attach an impact class or a standard number to that, so we are not going to quote one. If your race series has an equipment rule that names a specific standard, check it with them before you order.
SR is the adult guard. It ships as a pair, two guards, one per arm. Junior racers want the Kerma Forearm Protection JR, listed as its own product at a lower price. Both are offered in a single size, which means the JR/SR on the title is the entire sizing decision — there is no dropdown to catch a mistake. If you are buying for a kid who is nearly full grown, or you are a smaller adult, come in and try both. It takes a minute and it is the difference between a guard that stays put and one that spins on the arm.
