The Hawx Magna 100 is Atomic's wide-last all-mountain boot built around a 102mm last — that's a genuinely high-volume fit, with extra room through the forefoot, instep, and a fluted calf that doesn't squeeze wider lower legs. The 100 flex sits in medium territory: firm enough to move a ski with purpose on groomed and mixed terrain, but not so demanding that it punishes a skier who isn't driving hard every turn. Stiffness comes from Atomic's Energy Backbone — a reinforced asymmetric spine down the boot that firms up the flex feel without adding weight — backed up by Prolite shell construction that reinforces the zones that need it. Closure is four micro-adjustable aluminum buckles plus a velcro power strap, giving you real cuff pressure without the strap riding up. Where this boot earns its keep in a fitting room is the Memory Fit system: the shell, cuff, and Select Silver liner are all fully heat-moldable, meaning a bootfitter can press the shell to your foot's actual shape — not just pad the liner — which is a meaningful step up from a liner-only heat fit. The Adaptive Fit System cuff also has a removable spoiler that bumps cuff volume without a footbed swap, which is useful for larger calves.

This boot is for wide-footed intermediate skiers who have been skiing a few seasons, are comfortable on blue and moderate black terrain, and want a boot that doesn't fight their foot shape all day. If you have a truly narrow foot — under 99mm — this last will leave you swimming and you'll lose edge response; look at the Hawx Prime line instead, which runs MV at around 100mm. If you're a strong, heavier, or aggressive skier pushing into expert terrain regularly, the 100 flex will start to feel soft under load and you'll want to step up to the Hawx Magna 110 or 120. The base Magna 100 also comes with a standard ISO 5355 alpine sole and no walk mode — if you're hiking to the lift or want GripWalk binding compatibility, Atomic makes a GW variant of this same boot.
