The take

The sweet spot in CAPiTA's lineup — playful enough for side hits and creative laps, composed enough for all-mountain cruising.

The Outerspace Living sits right in the middle of CAPiTA's lineup — more all-mountain than the D.O.A., more playful than the Mercury. The directional twin shape with 0.5" setback and Resort V3 camber makes it a natural cruiser that handles nearly every resort situation without a weak spot.

The 2026 model features a re-engineered core that tapers between the insert packs for a more forgiving flex compared to prior years. The 4x 30mm carbon boosters add snap and ollie power without making the board feel stiff. On groomers, it carves cleanly and handles choppy terrain better than previous versions.

The medium flex (5/10, rides closer to medium-soft) makes the OSL accessible to strong beginners and comfortable for intermediates leveling up. It's playful enough for butters, side hits, and creative laps, but it's not a speed demon — advanced carvers wanting deep trenches should look at the Mercury or Aeronaut.

Good value at its price point — 4x carbon boosters and a sintruded base at a mid-range price is competitive.
