Description

The Women's Burton Step On Re:Flex is a strapless snowboard binding built around Burton's Step On entry system — two toe hooks at the front and a heel cleat at the back lock your boot in with a single downward step, and a quick-release lever on the highback lets you out just as cleanly. There are no straps, no buckles, and no fussing at the top of the lift. It sits at a medium flex (6 out of 10), built on a single-component nylon-composite construction with 18% short-glass in the highback and spar for a consistent, predictable feel across terrain. The canted single-component highback starts at zero forward lean and adjusts through Burton's tool-less Step On FLAD — flip the lever, no screwdriver needed — so you can dial in the response you want rather than living with a factory setting. The Re:Flex mounting disc floats slightly, which lets the board flex more naturally underfoot than a locked-down traditional disc, and the Re:Flex FullBED cushioning runs the full length of the footbed to absorb chatter without killing that board feel.

This binding is a strong fit for intermediate-to-advanced women riders who want the convenience of step-in entry without giving up responsive all-mountain performance — think lift-to-lift efficiency, groomer carving, and mellow park laps. The medium flex gives enough forgiveness for varied snow without going noodle-soft. The one hard stop: these only work with Step On-compatible boots. Burton, DC, and Nitro all make Step On boots — but a standard strap boot will not click in, at all. (Union makes a Step On binding, not Step On boots, so don't go looking there for footwear.) If you're not ready to buy into the Step On boot ecosystem, look at the Burton Lexa Re:Flex or Escapade Re:Flex in a traditional strap version instead. On flex: there isn't a softer women's Step On below this one, so if you want something more playful and forgiving, a softer strap binding is the better route. If anything you want more support — a stiffer, more aggressive response for charging hard — step up to the Step On X.
