Description

The Burton Malavita X (style 311851) is a men's two-strap snowboard binding from Burton's 26/27 range, listed here in sizes M and L, in Camo or in Black/White. Burton's dealer line drawings show an ankle strap and a toe strap on it.

Burton had not posted a page for this style on burton.com, eu.burton.com or jp.burton.com by September 11, 2026, when we looked, and no Burton page yet carries the Malavita X name. The details that normally fill this space are therefore unconfirmed: baseplate material, strap models, hi-back, forward-lean adjuster, mounting system, size chart and Personality rating. Burton's 26/27 range also includes a Malavita (style 311861) that is just as unpublished, and Burton has not described what separates the two.

Two Burton policies still hold. Binding size is picked by boot size rather than body weight, and Burton's warranty covers binding baseplates for the reasonable lifetime of the product, with straps and hi-backs covered for a year from purchase.

If you want the Malavita X, tell us which boot and board you have, and we will check the fit and the mounting hardware with you before it ships.

Burton Malavita X

Malavita family · 2026/27

Traditional Two-StrapBurton logo

The Burton Malavita X is hard to judge today: Burton has not published style 311851 on its US, EU or Japan sites as of September 11, 2026, and this review will not read a meaning into the X in its name. For now it loses to Burton's documented strap bindings on what a spec sheet gives you, since the Cartel X Re:Flex and Cartel Re:Flex pages list construction, a stiffness label, mounting and a size chart.

If the Malavita X is still your pick, settle sizing and hardware with us before it ships; this page lists it in M and L.

Strengths

  • +Burton warranties its binding baseplates for their reasonable lifetime.
  • +This page lists Camo and Black/White colorways and sizes M and L.

Common Questions

What is the difference between the Burton Malavita X and the Malavita?
Burton has not said. Both are 26/27 styles, the Malavita X is 311851 and the Malavita is 311861, and neither had a Burton product page when we checked on September 11, 2026, so we do not describe a difference Burton has not published.
What size Burton Malavita X should I order?
Size follows your boot, not your weight. Burton has not yet published the boot range for this style's M and L, so send us your boot size and model and we will confirm which one fits before it ships.
