The flex index of 60 is genuinely soft — that's intentional. It lets the boot move with the skier rather than demanding the skier push through it, which is exactly right for someone still building their stance and edge sense. The 104 mm last is a high-volume, relaxed-fit shell; the wider forefoot and roomier toe box mean this is one of the few production boots where someone with a naturally wider or higher-volume foot can buckle up without the kind of pain that sends people home early. Four aluminum micro-adjustable buckles with a 40 mm powerstrap give you enough closure range to dial in the fit without overcranking, and the diagonal cuff buckle with its three-position adjustment lets you fine-tune how the cuff wraps your lower leg — a useful tool when you're working with a new skier who's still finding her natural stance. The liner is heat-moldable, so the first time we get these on a customer we can run a quick custom fit session and knock out most of the break-in discomfort from day one. For those feet we'd put you in a low- or medium-volume last in the 98-to-100 mm range at a comfort-oriented flex. Either way, the right move is a fitting: bring your foot in and we'll match the shell volume and flex to what your foot and your skiing actually need rather than guessing off a model name.
