The Nitro Alternator x Hailey is a women's directional all-mountain snowboard, 238 to 246 mm at the waist across four Mid-Wide sizes. Co-developed with Hailey Langland, it is built to charge — to hold a fast groomer and float a deep day — rather than to drift and press. A full Trüe Camber runs between the contact points, and at 7 out of 10 the board sits on the responsive, stiffer end of Nitro's women's line. A 15 mm setback and a directional shape point it downhill and lift the nose, while keeping enough tail behind you to ride switch.
Nitro shapes the turn with a Dual Degressive sidecut: a tighter radius between the feet for quick, snappy turns, and a wider radius out at the nose and tail for long, drawn-out carves. The Reflex Core Profile thins the core between the bindings, which frees up torsional flex and makes turns easier to steer and hold. Under all of it sit a lightweight Powerlite core, a Carbon Tape stringer for pop, and a fast, durable Sintered Speed Formula II base.
This board suits advanced-to-expert women who ride the whole mountain and like to drive a board rather than be carried by one. Beginners, cautious intermediates, and park riders who want a soft twin for jibbing and switch laps should look at a more forgiving, rockered deck — full camber at this flex rewards an active, forward stance and punishes the backseat.
Within Nitro's lineup the Alternator x Hailey is the women's platform, co-developed from the men's Alternator with more sizes built around women; it is a separate board, not a width version of it. The deck comes without bindings — we mount and set them for you, dial the stance for its directional shape, and match the Mid-Wide size to your weight and boot.
