The take
“Bataleon's flagship freestyle twin — premium carbon-loaded construction at clearance pricing. Board of the World rated it 4.6/5 stars.”
The Evil Twin+ is the top-shelf version of Bataleon's legendary freestyle twin. Same true twin shape as the standard Evil Twin, but with a serious construction upgrade: Super Ultra Light Core, Aramid X-Ply perimeter reinforcement, Carbon Super Tube for explosive pop, carbon stringers in the nose and tail, AirRide vibration dampening, and a race-grade Nano Speed sintered base. All of that makes it lighter, faster underfoot, and noticeably snappier.
The 3BT (Triple Base Technology) base shape lifts the edges between your feet while keeping full contact at tip and tail — fewer edge catches, smoother transitions, and better float in soft snow. Combined with SideKick and medium camber, the Evil Twin+ is poppy and catch-free, great for switch riding, spins, rails, and jump lines. The Aramid X-Ply adds torsional stability the standard Evil Twin doesn't have, translating to more confidence at speed and cleaner landings on bigger features.
This is still fundamentally a freestyle-first board, but the + upgrades give it real legs outside the park. It handles moderate speed on groomers without getting chattery, and the sintered base is noticeably faster than the extruded base on the standard model. At $391.20 (44% off MSRP), this is one of the best deals in the shop — premium construction at mid-range pricing.
