Bataleon Stereo Team 2026/2027

The Stereo Team is Bataleon's pro-tier build of the Stereo - a true, centered twin that rides stiffer and faster than the standard model. Its defining mechanism is 3BT. A cambered center stays in contact underfoot for grip and pop, flanked by nose and tail sidebases whose edges lift clear of the snow. Because those contacts are raised, the board is hard to catch on a landing or a turn transition, it turns in easily, and it floats better than a flat twin - without giving up the camber bite underfoot. SideKick 2.0 sets those raised ends, tuned Low and symmetric so the tip and tail match. Low keeps enough effective edge to hold a line at speed, so this reads as a stiffer park-and-mountain twin, not a soft press machine. New for 26/27, Bataleon pairs the refined 3BT contour with a tri-radial sidecut - three radii per size, tighter at the ends and opening through the waist, the center radius stepping from about 6.5 m on the 141 to 7.3 m on the 159W. The payoff is smoother edge-to-edge changes and fewer hangups. The Team badge is a build story worth reading honestly. Against the standard Men's Stereo - which Bataleon positions as softer and more forgiving - the Stereo Team runs a 6/10 flex, a Light Core, Carbon Stringers, C.S.T. Super Tubes and a sintered Ultra Glide S base. Bataleon names those parts but publishes no measured gain, so treat the step up as the power, pop and glide the parts list implies, not a number you can check. The sintered base runs faster than an extruded one and wants regular waxing to stay that way. Inside Bataleon's line the Stereo Team sits between two boards that beat it at their own jobs. The Men's Stereo is the softer, more approachable twin - the better call for a lighter or mellower rider, or anyone still building a trick list. The Party Wave is the directional powder board; if deep-snow float and charging fresh lines are the point, look there, because the Stereo Team is a centered true twin that Bataleon rates low for powder. The Women's Stereo is a separate board with its own sizes and flex - do not read the Team's numbers onto it. Sizes run 141 to 158 in the standard width, with 153W, 156W and 159W Wide decks for boots that need a wider waist to clear the edges.
