Description
The Atomic Revent+ LF is an adult all-mountain ski helmet with an in-mold shell and no visor, worn with a separate goggle, and Atomic's datasheet weight is 410 g for size S. A retail listing shows ASTM F2040 and EN 1077:2007 Class B certification for the model, which Atomic's own page does not print; its added impact layer is Atomic's Holo Core, and Atomic sizes it from 51 to 65 cm; this Lavender listing is the S, 51–55 cm.
LF stands for Live Fit, which Atomic says surrounds the head 360° and molds to its shape. Atomic pairs it with a height-adjustable 360° Fit System, so you set both how snug the helmet closes and how high it sits. The shell is Atomic's In-Mold Dual Shell: EPS foam split into upper and lower sections and molded into a polycarbonate outer. Atomic says its Holo Core crumple zone absorbs up to 30% more shock than industry standards. That figure is Atomic's own, and Atomic names no test behind it. Neither AMID nor Mips appears on Atomic's Revent+ LF spec list.
You set the Active Aircon vents by hand and fine-tune the airflow to the day. The full cap liner comes out for washing and 3D-molded ear pads wrap the ears. A helmet bag is included, and the lining is Atomic's Merino 3M X-Static.
Skip the Revent+ LF if you are after AMID: the Revent AMID adds it on top of Holo Core, closes with a magnetic Fidlock buckle and weighs 450 g in size S by Atomic's figures. If you would rather skip the goggle, Atomic's Revent GT AMID Visor HD builds a visor in. In Lavender, Atomic lists S, M and L only.
At PTO we check the certification label in the shell together with you, measure your head and fit the helmet with your own goggle on before it goes home.

Atomic Revent+ LF
Revent family · 2024

Technology
Holo Core
An extended crumple zone for shock absorption, which Atomic rates at up to 30% above industry standards; no test is named for the figure.
In-Mold Dual Shell
Atomic’s in-mold build: the EPS foam comes in an upper and a lower part, molded into a PC outer shell.
360° Fit System
A height-adjustable system that fine-tunes the helmet to head size and shape.
Live Fit
The LF in the name: per Atomic, it wraps 360° around your head and takes on your head shape for an individual fit.
Active Aircon Venting
Air channels and vents that you adjust by hand to fine-tune airflow.
Merino 3M X-Static Lining
Merino wool lining that Atomic describes as anti-microbial and anti-odor, helping regulate temperature.
Features
- ·No visor: worn with a separate goggle
- ·Removable, washable full cap liner
- ·3D-molded ear pads
- ·Helmet bag included
The Atomic Revent+ LF is a plain in-mold Revent: an all-mountain helmet with no visor, made to be worn with a separate goggle, at 410 g in size S. It keeps the parts that decide daily comfort, a height-adjustable fit system, vents you set by hand and a liner you can wash, and it leaves Atomic’s AMID system off the spec sheet. Whether that trade suits you is the whole decision.
Judge the Revent+ LF’s protection by its certification label first. A retail listing for the model gives CE EN 1077:2007 Class B and ASTM F2040, but Atomic’s own Revent+ LF page prints no certification row, so we read the label inside the shell with you rather than take a listing’s word for it. On top of that, Atomic lists one impact feature, Holo Core, an extended crumple zone it credits with up to 30% higher shock absorption than industry standards. Atomic names no test behind the 30%, so count it as an added layer, not a rating.
The Revent+ LF takes its name from its fit, so fit is the part to judge on your own head, not on the spec sheet: Live Fit and the 360° Fit System only show what they do once the helmet is on.
The Revent AMID is the helmet to weigh it against. That later Revent adds AMID, which Atomic puts at up to 40% more impact protection than industry standards, keeps Holo Core and an in-mold shell, prints its certifications on Atomic’s datasheet and closes with a magnetic Fidlock buckle. Atomic lists it at 450 g in size S. If an added impact system or certifications on the maker’s own page are on your list, the Revent AMID is the better match. If you want the lighter helmet in size S, 410 g against 450 g, with the same 360° Fit System, adjustable vents, washable full cap liner and Merino 3M X-Static lining, the Revent+ LF covers it. For a visor in place of a goggle, the Revent GT AMID Visor HD carries one, at 600 g in size S.
Sizing the Revent+ LF starts with head circumference. Atomic’s guide runs S 51–55, M 55–59, L 59–63 and XL 63–65 cm, and Lavender comes in S, M and L only; this listing is the S. A head right at 55 cm sits on the shared end point of S and M, and Atomic gives no rule for it. Our call is the size the 360° Fit System draws in firmly with no pressure points. Bring your goggle: Atomic says nothing about goggle fit for this helmet, so we check where the goggle frame meets the helmet with yours on.

Common Questions
- Atomic Revent+ LF vs Revent AMID: what is the difference?
- Compared with the Atomic Revent+ LF, the Revent AMID adds Atomic’s AMID impact system, rated by Atomic at up to 40% over industry standards, to the Holo Core both helmets use. It also lists a magnetic Fidlock buckle and prints CE EN 1077 Class B and ASTM F2040 on Atomic’s datasheet. Atomic gives the Revent+ LF 410 g and the Revent AMID 450 g, both in size S.
- What size Atomic Revent+ LF should I get?
- The Atomic Revent+ LF follows Atomic’s Revent sizing by head circumference: S (51–55 cm), M (55–59 cm), L (59–63 cm) and XL (63–65 cm), with Lavender offered in S, M and L. Measure your head circumference first. On a shared end point such as 55 cm, pick the size the 360° Fit System closes snugly without pressure points.
- What certifications does the Atomic Revent+ LF have?
- A retail listing for the Atomic Revent+ LF gives ASTM F2040 and CE EN 1077:2007 Class B. Atomic does not print a certification row on its own Revent+ LF page, so check the label inside the shell; we read it with you at fitting. Holo Core is Atomic’s crumple-zone feature, not a certification.
- Does the Atomic Revent+ LF have Mips or AMID?
- The Atomic Revent+ LF lists neither Mips nor AMID on Atomic’s spec page. Its one added impact feature is Holo Core, an extended crumple zone that Atomic says absorbs up to 30% more than industry standards, with no test named. For AMID in a visorless Revent, look at the Revent AMID.
- Is the Atomic Revent+ LF good for beginners?
- The Atomic Revent+ LF suits adult beginners as well as experienced skiers, because a helmet is chosen by fit and features rather than ability. What decides it is head size, the goggle you wear and whether you want AMID. A fitting in the shop settles all three.
