Description
The Atomic Revent GT AMID is a visorless adult ski helmet for all-mountain skiing, built to pair with a goggle you pick yourself, and this listing is the White Heather color. It is certified to ASTM F2040 as well as CE EN 1077:2007 Class B, adds AMID 360°, Atomic's rotational-impact system, and comes here in two sizes: S for 51–55 cm heads and M for 55–59 cm.
Atomic pitches it at serious all-mountain skiers who want a low-profile, modern helmet. The shell is what Atomic calls Hybrid Construction: a hard ABS top for stability over an in-mold PC lower section that saves weight, with 450 g listed for size S. AMID 360° is Atomic's own system, not Mips, and Atomic's Revent GT AMID page does not say how it works.
Inside, the 360° Fit System tunes the helmet to head size and shape and adjusts for height, while Live Fit surrounds the head and molds to it. Active Aircon Venting gives you air channels and vents to adjust by hand. The full cap liner comes out for washing, the lining is Merino 3M X-Static, the 3D-molded ear pads are audio compatible, and the magnetic Fidlock buckle closes one-handed with gloves on. It ships with a helmet bag.
Pass on it if you want a single piece to put on: the Visor HD version of this helmet builds a goggle-style visor into the same Hybrid Construction. Pass too if your head is over 59 cm, since this White Heather listing has no L or XL even though Atomic makes both, and look elsewhere if Mips by name is a requirement.
Come in for a fitting at PTO: we measure your head, choose between S and M and set the height adjustment on the 360° Fit System.

Technology
AMID 360°
Atomic’s own rotational-impact system, which Atomic describes as 360° rotational-impact protection with next-gen energy absorption. Atomic puts it up to 40% beyond industry standards for impact protection, and its product page does not name the standard behind that figure. It sits on top of the certifications and does not replace them.
Hybrid Construction
Per Atomic, an ABS hard shell on top for stability and a PC in-mold lower part to save weight.
360° Fit System
Adjusts helmet height and fine-tunes the fit to the size and shape of the head, per Atomic.
Live Fit
Wraps the head 360° and molds to its shape; Atomic calls the result an instant individual fit.
Active Aircon Venting
Air channels and vents that you adjust and fine-tune by hand.

- ·Visorless shell, worn with a separate goggle
- ·Removable, washable full cap liner with Merino 3M X-Static lining

- ·Magnetic Fidlock buckle, one-handed with gloves on

Pick the Atomic Revent GT AMID for the hard ABS top shell and Atomic’s AMID 360°; Atomic lists it at 450 g in size S. With no visor on the helmet, every lens decision, flat light or bluebird, moves to the goggle, and that is the trade you sign up for.
The Atomic Revent GT AMID and the Revent GT AMID Visor HD both use Atomic’s Hybrid Construction and AMID 360°; what differs is the visor. The Visor HD puts a goggle-style visor on the helmet and weighs 600 g in size S, against 450 g for the GT AMID. Buy the Visor HD for one thing to put on in the lift line. Buy the GT AMID if you swap goggles between low light and sun, or already own one you trust.
The Atomic Revent GT AMID and the Revent AMID both come in at 450 g in size S. What separates them is the shell build. The GT tops a PC in-mold lower part with an ABS hard shell and lists AMID 360°. The Revent AMID uses Atomic’s In-Mold Dual Shell with Holo Core and AMID, and its page does not call its AMID rotational. If you want the hard ABS top and the 360° label, take the GT.
Judge the Atomic Revent GT AMID first on its helmet certifications, ASTM F2040 and EN 1077:2007 Class B. Atomic says AMID 360° surpasses industry standards for impact protection by up to 40%, yet its Revent GT AMID page names no test or baseline for that figure and does not explain the mechanism. Count AMID 360° as an added layer on top of the certifications.
Goggle fit on the Atomic Revent GT AMID gets settled at the fitting, because Atomic’s Revent GT AMID page lists no compatible goggles. Bring the goggle you plan to wear; we check where the frame meets the brim and how the strap sits on the back of the shell.
Sizing the White Heather Atomic Revent GT AMID: this listing has S (51–55 cm) and M (55–59 cm) only, so a head over 59 cm needs Atomic’s L (59–63 cm) or XL (63–65 cm), which this listing does not carry. Atomic’s S and M meet at 55 cm with no tie-break given, so on that line we take the size that closes snugly on the 360° Fit System before setting the height.

Common Questions
- Atomic Revent GT AMID vs Revent GT AMID Visor HD: which should I buy?
- The Atomic Revent GT AMID has no visor and goes with a separate goggle; the Visor HD adds a built-in goggle-style visor to the same Hybrid Construction and AMID 360°. Atomic lists 450 g for the GT AMID and 600 g for the Visor HD, both in size S. Choose the Visor HD for one piece, the GT AMID to pick your own goggle.
- Atomic Revent GT AMID vs Revent AMID: what is the difference?
- The Atomic Revent GT AMID differs from the Revent AMID in how the shell is built. The GT AMID uses Hybrid Construction, an ABS top shell over a PC in-mold lower part, and lists AMID 360°. The Revent AMID is built on Atomic’s In-Mold Dual Shell and adds Holo Core alongside AMID, and Atomic lists both at 450 g in size S.
- What size Atomic Revent GT AMID should I get?
- This White Heather Atomic Revent GT AMID comes in size S for a 51–55 cm head circumference and size M for 55–59 cm; Atomic’s L and XL, up to 65 cm, are not in this listing. Measure around the middle of the forehead, above the ears and over the back of the head. At exactly 55 cm, take the size that closes snugly before you set the height.
- Does the Atomic Revent GT AMID have Mips?
- The Atomic Revent GT AMID does not list Mips; it uses AMID 360°, Atomic’s own rotational-impact system. Its certifications, EN 1077:2007 Class B plus ASTM F2040, are helmet standards, and AMID 360° is an added system on top of them, not a certification.
- Is the Atomic Revent GT AMID good for beginners?
- The Atomic Revent GT AMID works for adult skiers of any level, beginners included: Atomic markets it as an advanced all-mountain helmet, yet nothing in its spec is tied to ability. Visor versus goggle and head size decide the pick, and a beginner who wants one less thing to manage may prefer the Revent GT AMID Visor HD, which has the visor built in.
- Which goggles work with the Atomic Revent GT AMID?
- For the Atomic Revent GT AMID, Atomic does not name compatible goggles on its Revent GT AMID product page. Try the helmet on with the goggle you plan to wear before you buy, and check where the goggle frame meets the brim and where the strap rests on the shell.
