The Revent GT AMID is Atomic's flagship all-mountain ski helmet — no visor, no frills, just a well-built lid with their proprietary AMID 360 rotational-impact protection. Where MIPS uses a low-friction slip layer, AMID is a free-moving dual-density foam at the core that shifts to absorb angled hits — addressing both rotational and linear forces. The hybrid shell pairs an ABS hard shell on top with a PC in-mold lower section to keep weight reasonable without cutting corners on structure. Certified CE EN 1077:2007 Class B and ASTM F 2040. The 360° Fit System is height-adjustable at the back — works well if you're between sizes or have a specific head shape — and the Live Fit cheek padding shapes to your face right out of the box. Active Aircon Venting gives you manually adjustable airflow, with channels running through each layer so heat actually exits rather than pooling. Liner is removable and washable with Merino 3M X-Static fabric. Ear pads are audio-compatible if you run speakers.
Good fit for adult all-mountain skiers who want a clean, non-visor helmet with rotational protection and a fit system that actually adjusts — particularly if you've found generic helmets don't sit right on your head. This is not the pick if you want an integrated lens setup (look at the Revent GT AMID Visor HD for that), if you ski terrain that warrants a full Class A certification, or if you're buying a kids' or women's-specific fit.
