The Revent+ LF is Atomic's mid-range all-mountain lid built around their In-Mold Dual Shell — a polycarbonate outer fused to an EPS Holo Core liner. That "egg-carton" foam structure creates an extended crumple zone Atomic claims delivers up to 30% more impact absorption than the EN 1077 Class B and ASTM F 2040 minimums. There's no MIPS or AMID here; protection comes from the construction itself. What you do get is a genuinely light helmet (around 430 g in a medium) with Active Aircon Venting — manually adjustable channels that pull heat off your head when you need airflow and close down on cold days.
Fit is handled by Atomic's Live Fit system plus a height-adjustable 360° dial, so you can dial in both circumference and vertical position — useful if you've struggled to get a helmet to sit right. The liner is Merino-blend with 3M X-Static for odor resistance, removable and washable. It comes in S (51–55 cm), M (55–59 cm), L (59–63 cm), and XL (63–65 cm). No visor, no audio system built in — this is a clean, no-frills resort helmet at $160. If you want rotational impact protection, step up to the Atomic Revent+ AMID; if you want a visor integrated, look elsewhere in the lineup.
