The Savor AMID is Atomic's entry point into their AMID protection lineup — a straightforward ABS hardshell helmet built for resort skiing. The shell is a two-piece ABS construction bonded to a Holo Core — Atomic's egg-carton EPS crumple zone that extends the shock-absorption path and routes air through each vent layer. Sitting between the shell and the Holo Core is Atomic's AMID layer (Multi-directional Impact Deflector), a dual-density foam system designed to address both direct and rotational forces on impact. This is Atomic's own technology, not MIPS. It's certified to CE EN 1077:2007 Class B and ASTM F 2040. Fit runs on a height-adjustable 360° dial system with Live Fit memory foam pads that conform to your head over time. Venting is manually adjustable — open it up on warm spring days, close it down when it's cold. The lining is removable and washable.
This helmet fits adults and works for men and women. The Savor AMID line runs S through XL (51–55 / 55–59 / 59–63 / 63–65 cm) — check the size selector for what PTO currently has in stock. No visor, no frills — solid piste coverage with a clean look. If you need a visor built in, step up to the Savor AMID Visor HD. If you want something a bit lighter without leaving the ABS-crown family, the Savor GT AMID uses Atomic's Tri-Brid construction, which adds an in-mold lower section to shave some weight. This one is for skiers who want hardshell durability and real rotational-impact protection at a price that doesn't make the decision complicated.
