OGASAKA TC-JS Skis
The OGASAKA TC-JS Skis are the junior model in OGASAKA's TC Technical Competition line, built for young skiers working toward junior technical competition. The TC-JS pairs easy maneuverability with real stability, so a rider can commit to a turn and still recover from a mistake without getting punished.
It uses sandwich construction over an NF wood core with special F.R.P. — a lighter, more forgiving layup than the adult TC-S, which adds A7178 aluminium. With a 64 mm waist and a short 8.9–11.3 m radius, the TC-JS is built to teach clean, repeatable short turns and to support steady technical progression.
Performance Overview
- Junior Technical Competition: Aimed at young skiers building toward junior technical events.
- Maneuverable but Stable: Easy to steer, yet settled enough to hold a line.
- Forgiving: Makes it easy to recover from mistakes — useful while technique is still forming.
- Short-Turn Radius: 8.9–11.3 m radius encourages quick, correct short-turn shape.
- Sandwich / NF Wood Core: Special F.R.P. layup, without the adult TC-S's A7178 aluminium — lighter and less demanding.
- Made in Japan: Built in OGASAKA's own factory.
