The HEAD Paw Patrol JRS is a starter ski built around HEAD's E4SY Kids System — a package designed so that the ski, binding, and flex all work in the same direction: making it easy for a small child to get turns going without fighting the gear. The construction is composite and fiberglass with a Junior Power Frame, which is a geometric edge-reinforcement shape (not a metal layer) that stiffens the outer edges structurally while keeping the ski light and very forgiving underfoot. The Junior Rocker profile — roughly 15% rocker at the tip, 85% camber through the body — lifts the tip just enough to help a beginner initiate a turn without catching an edge, while the cambered midsection gives enough grip on groomed snow to feel stable at low speeds. At 65 mm underfoot across tiny lengths of 67, 77, 87, and 97 cm, this is a narrow, short, easy-turning ski with a radius around 5–6.5 m depending on length — exactly what you want for a child making their first wedge turns on a gentle green. The included Tyrolia JRS 4.5 GW binding releases at low DIN settings appropriate for small kids and accepts GripWalk boots.

This ski is for the youngest beginners — toddlers and early elementary-age children who are just discovering that they have feet and those feet can slide downhill. It is not for a child who can already link parallel turns or who is ready for blue runs; at that point the ski will feel too soft and too short to give them anything useful to work with.
