The Burton Women's Limelight BOA is a medium-flex, two-dial snowboard boot for strap bindings with a Thinsulate-insulated liner, priced at US$359.95.
Burton's Dual Zone BOA® runs two lace zones, upper boot and lower boot, each on its own Coiler™ dial, so each can be tightened independently. The Imprint™ 2 liner is heat-moldable, closes with hook-and-loop and carries 3M™ Thinsulate™ insulation. At the ankle, the low-profile Lock-Up Cuff carries the laces around for heel hold and, in Burton's words, effortless entry and exit. The DynoGRIP outsole puts B3 Gel under the heel and adds a traction layer at the toe and heel. Burton calls the flex medium on one line of its page and medium-stiff on another, and its Personality slider sits in the middle of the scale.
Burton's own pitch is jibbing, buttering and carving, which suits a rider past the first season who wants one boot for most of the mountain. It is not a Step On® boot, and Burton says Step On bindings need Step On boots.

The Limelight BOA gives way to Burton's Felix BOA once the speed goes up. Burton calls the Felix firm, routes its BOA Lockdown lacing toward the heel, fits it with a Vibram outsole and lists it at US$479.95, $120 more.
