The Burton Women's Highshot Step On is a medium-stiff, single-dial snowboard boot for Step On® bindings, priced at US$349.95.
Its Sequence BOA® closure runs two lace paths from one dial, which Burton says tighten the shell evenly, top to bottom. Under the forefoot, the Step On™ Outsole carries toe cleats that lock into the binding, and together with the heel connection they make Burton's three-point Step On hold: step in heel first, press the toes down until they click, and release with the lever on the binding's heel. Inside is the heat-moldable Imprint™ 2 liner with 3M™ Thinsulate™ insulation and a hook-and-loop closure, held at the ankle by the low-profile Lock-Up Cuff. Burton lists 20% recycled rubber in the outsole, calls the flex medium-stiff, and draws its Personality slider in the middle of the scale.

At US$349.95, the Highshot Step On shares its price with Burton's Waverange Step On, which Burton pitches as the softer, surfy option; the Highshot is the supportive one of the pair.
Its single Sequence dial is the trade-off. An independent review of the men's 25/26 version, which Burton lists with the same lacing, liner, cuff and outsole, found the one dial quick and easy to tighten but called adjustability one of its weaker areas, because the upper and lower boot cannot be set separately; for some riders, that reviewer added, it won't matter much.
The same review found it locked-in and at its best carving with a bit of speed, with really good heel hold and a really small footprint, while the tongue seemed to fold into a corner and press on the top of the foot when flexed.
