The Cochise 95 W is the women's version of Tecnica's hybrid all-mountain boot, with 50 degrees of walk mode range and a carbon-reinforced cuff at just 1650g. It's remarkably light for a four-buckle boot with this much downhill capability. The women-specific W.S.D. (Woman Specific Design) liner with Celliant is built around women's foot anatomy — narrower heel, different instep shape, calf-friendly cuff.

Flex 95 is stiff enough for strong intermediate-to-advanced women who want one boot that handles groomers, sidecountry, and short hikes. The C.A.S. shell is fully heat-moldable. At $520, it matches the men's Cochise 110 in price while being purpose-built for women's feet and skiing style.

Strengths

  • +Extremely light at 1650g with full walk mode (50° ROM)
  • +Women-specific W.S.D. liner with Celliant for warmth and fit
  • +Carbon-reinforced cuff — stiff where needed, light everywhere else

Best For

Strong intermediate-to-advanced women who want an all-mountain boot with genuine walk mode at minimal weight.

Limitations

  • Flex 95 is stiff for lighter intermediate women — consider the Cochise 85 W
  • Heavier than dedicated AT boots — DYN Tech inserts are for short tours, not multi-day backcountry
  • 99mm medium last may be snug for wider women's feet

Not For

Beginners, women with wide feet, dedicated backcountry tourers, or those who want a softer, more forgiving flex.

Common Questions

How does the Cochise 95 W compare to the Rossignol Alltrack Pro 80 W?
The Cochise 95 W is stiffer (95 vs 80 flex), lighter (1650g vs standard weight), and has the same walk mode range (50°). The Alltrack Pro 80 W has GripWalk standard and Hike Mode 2.0. The Cochise is for stronger skiers; the Alltrack for comfortable all-mountain cruising.
Is this boot good for touring?
For short hikes and sidecountry access, yes — the 50° walk mode and 1650g weight make it walkable. For multi-hour backcountry tours, a dedicated AT boot with tech fittings will be lighter and more efficient.
