The Sightline is a mid-tier 686 glove on the brand's own infiDRY 10K/10K membrane — 10,000mm waterproof and 10,000g breathable, a house membrane rather than GORE-TEX. It's rated WARMER on 686's scale (a step below the GORE-TEX line's WARMEST), which suits most normal cold days. Soundtouch fingertips work a phone, and a wrist strap keeps it attached.

A solid everyday glove at an honest price. The 10K waterproofing holds up through a normal day but won't match GORE-TEX in an all-day Pacific Northwest rain-on-snow storm — if that's your typical day, step up to the GORE-TEX Linear.
