This is Burton's workhorse women's glove for riders who want one pair that handles whatever the mountain throws at them. The shell runs a GORE-TEX membrane over a DRYRIDE 2-layer nylon exterior — genuinely waterproof and breathable, not just water-resistant. Inside, Thermacore ECO synthetic insulation keeps your hands warm through a long day without making the glove feel like an oven mitt. The goat leather palm holds up to buckles, poles, and rope tows, and Screen Grab touchscreen tech is built directly into the leather on the thumb and index finger — not a coating, so it won't fray or wash off. The extended gauntlet seals over your cuff, the removable Screen Grab liner lets you adjust for temperature, and the wrist leash keeps them from disappearing on the chairlift.
These land in a medium warmth range — they're built for variable conditions and active riding, not for sitting still in deep, sustained cold. If you run very cold or you're doing a lot of slow ski touring or groomer laps in hard winter conditions, you'd be better served by a heavier insulated mitt. But for most snowboard days, especially in the Pacific Northwest and variable spring-to-winter conditions, these cover the full season without needing a backup pair.
