Völkl Mantra 84 Skis 26/27

The 2026/27 Völkl Mantra 84 is the narrowest and most piste-focused ski in the current Mantra group. Its 84 mm waist and 129-84-110 mm shape favor quicker edge changes and a more direct connection to firm snow than the Mantra 88 or 96 mm M7 Mantra. It is aimed at skiers who spend most of the day on groomers but still want enough rocker and platform for bumps, cut-up snow and occasional off-piste laps.

Völkl’s 3D Radius Sidecut combines three radii along the ski. A shorter radius in the center supports tighter turns, while longer radii toward the tip and tail allow the ski to open into larger arcs when speed and edge angle build. Tip and tail rocker help the ski enter and release turns while preserving the directional character expected from a narrow all-mountain ski.

A Multilayer Woodcore is paired with a Tailored Titanal Frame whose width is adjusted by ski length. A thinner Titanal layer reinforces the binding area, and Tailored Carbon Tips place carbon fibers in the shovel. Full Sidewall construction and a brushed P-Tex 2100 base round out the resort-ready build.

The Mantra 84 is available from 163 to 184 cm, with published weights from 1670 g to 1930 g per ski without bindings. It is sold flat. Skiers seeking more flotation and mixed-snow support should compare the Mantra 88 or M7 Mantra.
