Völkl M7 Mantra W Skis 26/27

The 2026/27 Völkl M7 Mantra W brings the 96 mm Mantra platform to a shorter 149–177 cm size range. It is the most soft-snow-capable option among the M7 Mantra W, Mantra 88 W and Mantra 84 W, with enough width for mixed conditions while remaining narrow enough for everyday resort use. It suits skiers who regularly leave the groomed line, encounter chopped snow, or want more platform underfoot than an 84 or 88 mm ski provides.

The 139-96-121 mm shape is paired with Völkl’s 4 Radius Drive. Four radii are blended through the ski so the effective turn shape changes with edge angle and pressure instead of forcing every turn into the same arc. Tip and tail rocker support easier turn entry and release, especially in softer snow, bumps and tighter terrain.

A Multilayer Woodcore forms the base of the construction. Völkl adds a Tailored Titanal Frame with length-specific material distribution and a thinner Titanal layer through the binding area. Tailored Carbon Tips place carbon fibers in the shovel, while Full Sidewall construction and a brushed P-Tex 2100 base complete a build intended for repeated resort use.

Published weights run from 1610 g per ski at 149 cm to 2090 g at 177 cm, without binding. The ski is sold flat, allowing the binding and mount to be selected for the skier. For a quicker, more groomer-biased feel, compare the Mantra 88 W or Mantra 84 W.
