The kit includes three 120g bricks of Toko Base Performance hydrocarbon hot wax (Yellow for 0°C to -6°C / 32°F to 21°F, Red for -4°C to -12°C / 25°F to 10°F, Blue for -10°C to -30°C / 14°F to -22°F), a 100ml Express Pocket liquid wax for quick touch-ups at the hill, a T8 waxing iron, 3mm plexiscraper, nylon brush, Express Tuner Kit, medium diamond file, and a kit bag to keep it organized. The Base Performance waxes are fluoro-free hydrocarbon glide waxes — solid everyday training wax for skis and snowboards across most conditions you'll actually ski in the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
Who this is for: someone who wants to start waxing at home and doesn't want to source a brush here, a scraper there. You get a reasonable iron, the three core temperature waxes, and an edge tool in one box. Who should skip it: if you already own a quality iron and tools, you're paying for redundancy — buying individual wax bricks makes more sense. Same goes if you're deep into racing; these are solid training-level waxes, not race-day overlays.
