This is Toko's universal glide wax — a hot wax (iron-in) designed to work across the full cold-snow spectrum down to -30°C (-22°F). Iron at 130°C / 270°F. Toko markets it for all snow conditions and temperatures, and the warm-end limit varies by source (retailers list anywhere from 0°C to +10°C), so treat this as a true universal block rather than a cold-only formula. The formula is fluoro-free and biodegradable, which matters now that fluorinated waxes are banned in competitive and many recreational contexts. It covers skis and snowboards equally, and beyond glide it does double duty as a storage wax — the hydrocarbon base keeps your bases from drying out and oxidizing when the gear sits in the off-season.
Who this is for: recreational skiers and boarders who want one block of wax that handles most of the season without sorting through a temperature-specific lineup. Who should skip it: if you're racing or chasing every last meter of glide in specific conditions, you'll want temp-matched wax.
