PS10 Yellow is a hot-wax (iron-in) glide wax built for warm, wet snow in the 0°C to +10°C range. It works on alpine skis, snowboards, and cross-country skis — the PS chemistry isn't discipline-specific. For anyone dealing with spring slush or above-freezing days, PS10 does exactly what a solid glide wax should: melts cleanly at a low iron temperature (120°C), spreads evenly, and keeps the bases sliding when heavy snow wants to grab. It works as a training-day workhorse and as a base layer when warm-condition race wax goes on top.
One note for XC classic skiers: PS10 goes in the glide zones (tips and tails), not in the kick or grip zone. That's a technique thing, not a product limitation — it's just how classic waxing works.
Not the right choice if you're skiing cold or dry snow below 0°C — you'd want a harder, colder wax for those conditions. And if you're chasing a race-day finish coat with fluorinated additives or a precisely temperature-matched top layer, PS10 is the training and base tier, not the race coat.
