Smith 4D MAG XL Goggle

The Smith 4D MAG is the flagship goggle in Smith's MAG series, built around a spherical lens and the brand's BirdsEye Vision shape that widens how much terrain you take in below and beside you. On its ChromaPop tint, contrast in the snow sharpens up — a real help when Pacific Northwest light goes flat and gray and the surface stops reading. It is aimed at all-mountain skiers who want optics that keep pace as the light and weather shift.

The XL uses a larger frame and lens for bigger faces or riders who want the maximum field of view, and Smith also offers an XL Low Bridge Fit version for lower nose bridges or taller cheekbones, so the seal sits flush without pressure points. Two ChromaPop lenses come in the box — a brighter tint for sun and a lighter one for storm and low light — and the magnetic MAG system lets you switch between them without fighting the frame.

At PTO we fit every goggle to your face and helmet in person, check for gaps across the forehead, and walk you through the lens swap so the first change on the mountain is not the first time you try it.
