Ability Level
The Nova 2 is Rossignol's women's entry-level carving ski — narrow at 75mm, so it rolls edge-to-edge with almost no effort, which is exactly what you want when you're learning to link turns on groomers. A PEFC poplar core with cap construction keeps it light (no metal), and the Assist Flex profile is the softest, most forgiving flex Rossignol builds — turn initiation takes almost no effort.
It's a ski for a true beginner-to-early-intermediate woman skiing groomed runs and building confidence. It's not built for speed, off-piste, or firm-snow grip when you're charging — once you're skiing faster and more aggressively you'll outgrow it and want a wider, metal-laminate all-mountain ski.
