The One Ball F1 is a fluorocarbon-free hydrocarbon speed wax designed for both skis and snowboards. Its sweet spot is cool to cold snow — roughly 21°F to 28°F (-6°C to -2°C) — which covers a solid chunk of Pacific Northwest resort days. Hot-wax it in for real durability and glide, and it'll hold up run after run. In a pinch you can rub it on cold, though you'll get noticeably better results off an iron. It also works as a cleaning wax to strip old wax before switching to a temperature-specific formula, so one bar pulls double duty when you're tuning at home.
At 180g it's a solid block that'll last a season of regular waxing. This is an everyday workhorse wax, not a race-day specialty product — if you want a wax you can grab once and forget about across most conditions, F1 does that well. Skip it if you mostly ski in warm, wet spring snow (28°F and up) or icy cold dry powder (below 21°F) — there are better temperature-matched options for the extremes.
